No Doubt on American Idol
No Doubt will perform on American Idol this Wednesday, May 6th. Be sure to check it out on Fox at 9pm/8pm central time.
• Huge thanks to Robotsindisguise for this, Myer in Bourke Street Melbourne are displaying the Wizard Of Oz ruby slipper collection designed by celebrities, including Gwen, until May 24th.

Wizard of Oz Ruby Slipper Collection
The Wizard of Oz Ruby Slipper Collection is described as ‘a creative interpretation of one of the classic film’s most iconic and revered symbols (Dorothy’s red shoes) which has captured the hearts and imaginations of people the world over.’
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the movie, which starred a young Judy Garland. The collection of designer shoes is part of Warner Bros. celebrations to mark the event, and has already visited London, Paris and New York before arriving here in Melbourne - the only Australian stop on its tour.
Designers were hand picked to take part in designing shoes for the collection. Each one incorporating CRYSTALLIZED Swarovski Elements and worth over $10,000 US - now that’s got to be the ultimate Mothers Day present for anyone with that kind of money to spare.
Among those who contributed are some of the world’s most famous fashionable footwear icons like Jimmy Choo, Alberta Ferretti, Betsey Johnson, Botkier, Diane von Furstenberg, Giuseppe Zanotti, as well as L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani, Manolo Blahnik, Moschino and Oscar de la Renta.
The Ruby Slipper Collection has been on display in some of the world’s leading department stores in London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Dubai.
When and where: The Exhibition opens next week at the Myer store in Melbourne’s Bourke Street Mall on Wednesday and will run until May 24.
