Harajuku Lovers fragrance update, Halloween plans, 10% off at The Giant Peach
• Okay I have some updates on the Harajuku Lovers fragrance in Australia! I went to Chadstone yesterday and visited David Jones and Myer. Myer had only just put out the 5pc gift set (five 10ml bottles) and will be selling it for $125. They didn’t have to 30ml bottles out yet but will be selling those for $60. They will be doing the proper launch the week after Melbourne Cup week (around Wednesday November 12th). They also said there will be a gift with purchase which will be the bracelet that was available in the US.
David Jones (in Chadstone) didn’t have anything out, but since Myer is their main competitor they said they will try and get it out asap. They didn’t know if they would be doing a gift with purchase.
I also visited Myer in Knox City, they had both the individual bottles and the gift packs out, but said they were keeping it very low-key for now until the proper launch in a few weeks. They had a few cards out for spraying testers, but it was very minimal (see photo below).
If anyone is thinking of buying the perfumes I suggest waiting a couple of weeks until it’s been officially launched.
• Thanks to Rosemarie, Just Jared have a new interview up on their site with Gavin discussing their plans for Halloween:
JJ: Halloween is coming up. Do you and Gwen have any Halloween plans yet?
GR: Yeah, her brother is having a party, so we’re going to that. I’m playing that night and then we’re gonna go off and I don’t know. She’s really good at that stuff. I’m English so we’re too uptight to be good at that stuff. I’d like dress as doctor and nurse but covered in blood. That’s great. So anything to do with blood would probably be good.
JJ: Are Kingston and Zuma going to be be dressing up?
GR: Yea, Kingston has like three outfits. He’s got a rhino, a tiger and I think an elephant, so he’s got to choose between them. We keep rotating them. He’s got style like his Mom.
JJ: Have Kingston and Zuma started fighting yet?
GR: It’s mainly a one-sided fight right now because Zuma’s pretty defenseless. But he’s not a small baby, so I think that Kingston’s got a couple years left and then he’s gonna get in trouble.
JJ: Do you and Gwen plan to start your own foundation to give back?
GR: Yeah, that would be good, wouldn’t it? We have talked about that. It’s kind of a leap of faith to have your own foundation because you gotta be super successful unless it’s a really small foundation. I did this event last week called The Lily Claire Foundation and I played the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. I played like a few songs there and it’s such a good feeling when you do something like that that isn’t about you so. I’ll tell Gwen that you suggested it.

• Pink’s album Funhouse was released this week if anyone wants to check it out for Tony’s tracks.
The charm bracelet is super cute but you have to purchase 3 of them (in one transaction) in order to recieve it.
